citiefamily blog: launched in TOIESY 2011!

Last March 5, 2011, the ‘BlogDev‘ project (Blog Development) we had was officially launched to the CIT-University IE Department faculty, staff, students, guests and Alumni during the TOIESY 2011 (Ten Outstanding Industrial Engineering Students of the Year). It was delivered or unveiled during the State of the IE Department Address (something like that) from the IE Chair.

About TOIESY:

The TOIESY is an annual search for the best and well-rounded IE student in CIT University. It takes into account student participation in Academics, Extra-Curricular Activities, Community Development, and Personal Skills (Speaking, writing, and the like), to name a few to determine the Cream of the Crop among students.

All Students are qualified to join provided they meet certain requirements but it doesn’t mean that a 1st year student has no chance of winning compared to senior students. This year, a 3rd year student (Sandra Jane Soon) outlasted all the top 10 participants to be the Most Outstanding Student of the Year 2011.
